No-See-Um Lodge is located 300 air miles southwest of Anchorage in the heart of the 10,000 square mile Illiamna/Katmai trophy trout region. Guests are met at King Salmon and transferred by float plane to the lodge, which is strategically located on a remote bank of the Kvichak River. The log guest house offers private bedrooms for each two anglers with shower and bathroom facilities in every room. Other amenities include a hot tub, sauna and fly tying area. Mouth watering gourmet meals are served in the dining room.
Royal Wolf is located on 120 riverfront acres within the wilderness of Katmai National Park at the headwaters of the Nonvianuk River. They offer personalized service for 12 anglers, two per private cabin with private bath. Daily fly-outs are in two Helio Couriers and a Beaver on floats (weather permitting). Delicious meals make your wild Alaska fishing adventure even more memorable. Your hosts are Chris and Linda Branham whose family has been flying anglers in Alaska for 50 years. Fly fishing for big wild rainbows is their specialty, with fishing for the various species of salmon in their prime season. Transfers are either through King Salmon or via Charter out of Anchorage.
Located in the Wood River/Tichik State Park, this personal service camp is on top of the fishing and away from the crowds. The river nearest the camp is one of the best dry fly rivers in the state. Taking only eight per week enables them to customize the trip to your specific fishing interests. Would you like to go out after a great dinner to check out the evening bite? No problem! Accommodations are in heated Weatherport tents with wood floors and carpeting. The shower house has on demand hot water for "civilized camping." The main lodge is a large yurt with a wooden floor and a big wood stove. The food is outstanding, not your typical beans and weenies camping fare. The fishing is accessed via jet boats. Species available are: rainbows, char, grayling, sockeye salmon, and pike.

The river is shallow and slow in places with pods of visible fish, reminiscent of fishing the flats for bonefish. Chrome-bright 10-20 pound fish fresh from the Pacific Ocean slam wet and dry flies alike. Limited to 12-16 anglers in six cabins with private bathrooms. Camp is reached via chartered flight from Yakutat or Cordova, which is not included in price. Other lengths of stay are available.
Set in a remote cove off Lake Illiamna, it is just around the corner to the famous Copper River trout fishery. Other legendary rainbow waters are within 10-30 minutes flying time. Weather permitting, there is an option for a spectacular 3 day/2 night float on the prolific Copper River.During silver season there is a special flyout to the remote west coast. The lodge accommodates 6 to 10 anglers per week in comfort for personalized service and fishing. Price includes lodging, all meals, daily guided fishing, day or overnight float trips and flyouts.
July 16th to August 19th is a bargain for those anglers wanting a taste of fishing in Alaska without spending big bucks. Price includes two days of guided fishing and familiarization (one guide for up to four anglers), six nights lodging, breakfast each day and dinner the first three nights. Rental car required for open days.
Accessible only by floatplane, Riversong Lodge is located on the southern bank of the Yentna River at the confluence of Lake Creek. Home to all five species of salmon as well as rainbow trout, arctic grayling and northern pike. The lodge is 70 air miles northwest of Anchorage with direct access by floatplane included in the price. With this ease of logistics it affords anglers and non-anglers to do shorter stays that fit into other Alaskan travel plans. Stays rand from 2 to 12 days. There are 10 guest cabins that are comfortable and private. They take great pride in their food. The river is accessed by boat with optional flyouts at additional cost.
Located 400 air miles southwest of Anchorage, Alaska West is a coveted destination of serious anglers worldwide who appreciate its unique angling opportunities, deluxe camp and professional staff. Fish for any of the five species of Pacific salmon fresh with sea lice or upriver by jet boat (two anglers per guide). If you have caught chromer kings, you know this is one to do! “Leopard rainbows” are available year around in the Kanektok as well as next door in the Arolik River Preserve. The Arolik is limited to four anglers per day. In addition there are Dolly Varden, Arctic char and Arctic grayling.
