Cedar Lodge 

When we think of New Zealand, towering mountains, secluded rain forest valleys, and transparent mountain streams come to mind. So does Cedar Lodge, which offers views up the spectacular Wilken River Valley to lush surrounding mountains.  One of the best fishing programs in New Zealand. The completely modern lodge will accommodate eight anglers. Your host, pilot and guide, Dick Fraser, has daily fly-outs to remote waters offering oversize rainbow and brown trout. You will use the lodge's own helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft, landing on private strips or inside Mt. Aspiring National Park. Jet boats and four-wheel drive are used when weather precludes flying. The season is November to April. Price includes food, lodging, guide service, fly outs and ground from Wanaka/Cromwell. Prices are based on double occupancy.
