Captain Cook Hotel
The Captain Cook offers oceanside thatched roof bungalows that are positioned so the ocean breezes flow through them from three sides. The surf breaking on the reef is only a few paces away, a peaceful sound to ease you to sleep each night. Bungalows have a fan, refrigerator, private bath and two twin beds. Hotel rooms are side-by-side concrete block construction and are air conditioned with twin beds and a refrigerator. Meals are served family style in the dining room, and there is a bar.
Christmas Island Outfitters
The oceanfront location and close proximity to the fishing make this a great option for up to 8 anglers. Each two anglers have their own bungalow with private bath. Head guide Peter has an experienced staff of guides making for great fishing.
The Villages
The setting is in the village of Tabwakea in the coconut palms right on the lagoon beach. The lagoon flats on the Northside are accessed within minutes of the lodge. There is even a flat you can walk to from you bungalow. Air conditioned bungalows were completed in 2006, accommodating 8 anglers. Head guide Tenaki has a first class fiahing program.
